DARNESTOWN, Md. — Multiple students were evaluated after a school bus crash Thursday morning.
According to a spokesperson from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, the crash happened near Bondy Lane and Darnestown Road around 7:15 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived, they learned a sedan had collided with the school bus.
The driver of the sedan was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive. Ten children were evaluated after the crash and were not injured.
Officials have not said what happened in the moments leading up to the crash or if any charges would be filed.
