LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Police are investigating after a person was found with their throat slashed in Lexington Park on Saturday.
According to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, officers were called to the 21000 block of Morris Drive for reports of a disturbance.
When officers arrived, they found a person suffering from a "significant laceration to the throat."
The victim was flown to an area shock trauma center for help. There is no word on their current condition at this time.
No information regarding any suspect in connection to the attempted murder has been released.
