MECHANICSVILLE, Md. — Deputies say no foul play is suspected after an employee was found dead at an elementary school in Mechanicsville Tuesday night.
According to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, patrol deputies were called to Lettie Marshall Dent Elementary School shortly after 10 p.m. for a death investigation.
Investigators say an employee of St. Mary’s County Public Schools was identified as the person who died.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) and a Forensic Investigator from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to the school. There is no word on the identity of the employee or how they may have died at this time.
