Crash causes school bus full of children to catch fire

The crash happened just before 10 a.m. on the outer loop of the Capital Beltway near Ritchie Marlboro Road.

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. — A vehicle crashed into the back of a school bus full of children in Prince George's County on Tuesday, causing the bus to burst into flames.

The crash happened just before 10 a.m. on the outer loop of the Capital Beltway near Ritchie Marlboro Road. 

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, a vehicle rear ended the bus which caused a fire. 

There were 23 students and the driver on board. No one was injured.

The students and the driver were being held at Walker Mill Middle School after the crash.

No other information has been released.
