WALKERSVILLE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Maryland State Police are asking citizens for information about the shooting of a Frederick man, who was found injured in his car in Walkersville, Md. on January 22.

PREVIOUS: Maryland security guard shot multiple times outside Goodwill

Gerald Campbell, 42, of Frederick, Md. was found shot in a silver Hyundai Tiburon parked in the area of a store located in the 8000 block of Woodsboro Pike in Walkersville, police said. Officers originally responded to shots fired in the area around 9:30 p.m.

The family is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect or suspects who may be responsible for the shooting.

Maryland State Police are hoping they can learn more and find suspects with the help of information from citizens.
