ROCKVILLE, Md. — A person is in the hospital after they were stabbed several times by a coworker at a McDonald's in Rockville, Md. Tuesday night, according to Rockville City Police.
The incident happened at the McDonald's located at 1390 Rockville Pike just before 11 p.m., police said.
The police investigation has since revealed that a verbal dispute took place between the two employees inside the restaurant that evening. At some point, both the suspect and the victim exited the restaurant and went outside to the parking lot, where the suspect went into his car, got a knife and proceeded to stab his coworker multiple times. The suspect drove off prior to police arrival.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the McDonald's employee suffering several stab wounds, police said. The person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives learned that the stabbing resulted from an ongoing dispute between the two employees.
On Friday, Rockville City Police Detectives announced that they had made an arrest in the incident.
31-year-old Isiah Anthony Hollins has been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder, first and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
Rockville City Police Criminal Investigations Unit is continuing to investigate this incident.
