One critically injured after accident on Suitland Parkway

OXON RUN, Md. (WUSA9) -- At least one person was critically injured after an accident on the Suitland Parkway that trapped three people inside a vehicle.

OXON RUN, Md. (WUSA9) -- At least one person was critically injured after an accident on the Suitland Parkway that trapped three people inside a vehicle.

According to a Prince George's County fire spokesperson, the three people were extracted from the car about 25 minutes after the accident was reported. One person was medevaced with life-threatening injuries and the other two were transported to a trauma center. 

The accident happened on the Suitland Parkway near the Naylor Road intersection. The parkway has reopened.
