GAITHERSBURG, Md. — "The Amazing Race" is speeding its way back to TV screens in March, and with its 36th season comes representation from the DMV.
There will be 13 teams, and this season will feature a former NFL player competing with his wife, a pair of firefighting moms, military pilots, twin brothers, and a Montgomery County native.
Kishori Turner, 26, of Gaithersburg, is a senior marketing strategist and she will be competing alongside her 22-year-old cousin Karishma Cordero for the $1 million prize.
The teams will kick things off with a rodeo in Mexico, they will also go paragliding in Columbia, rally car racing in Argentina, and even visit Rihanna's childhood home in Barbados.
The Amazing Race starts on Wednesday, March 13 at 9:30 p.m. on WUSA9.
