Man stabbed to death in College Park

Police say no one has been arrested at this time for the deadly stabbing.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — A stabbing has left a man dead Sunday night in College Park, sparking an investigation into what happened.

Officers with the Prince George's County Police Department responded to Metzerott Road, off of University Boulevard East, around 8:40 p.m. after a report of a domestic-related stabbing. Once at the scene, they found a man inside a home suffering from wounds due to the stabbing. 

He was taken to a local hospital to be treated, but he later died. No information has been revealed about the identity of the victim in the case, this includes his name and age.

Police say no one has been arrested at this time for the deadly stabbing. The stabbing is considered to be domestic in nature, but the relationship between the victim and the person of interest in the stabbing can not be confirmed currently.

The investigation into the stabbing is active and ongoing.
