BROOKLYN PARK, Md. — A man was shot and killed in Brooklyn Park, Maryland Monday afternoon, sparking a homicide investigation into what happened.
Officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to Bon Air Avenue, off of Governor Ritchie Highway, after a report of shooting in the area. Upon arrival, they found a man at the location suffering from injuries.
Around 3:45 p.m., the police department stated on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the fire department had taken the man to the hospital to be treated for a serious, life-threatening injury. As of 7:43 p.m., he was pronounced dead.
