Police look into ATV crash that left man dead, child injured

The child was hurt but is expected to survive.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — A man is dead and a child injured after an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash in Prince George's County Friday night.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, the crash happened shortly before 9 p.m. near Woodyard Road and Sherwood Drive in Rosaryville.

The ATV driver, an unidentified man, was killed in the crash. A child was riding on the ATV with the man when the collision happened. That child was hurt but is expected to survive.

There is no word on how the man and child knew each other at this time. 

Investigators are looking into what caused the ATV to crash.
