PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — A man is facing several charges, including attempted first-degree murder, after an argument turned to gunfire earlier this month in Fort Washington, Maryland.
According to a warrant, Prince George's County Police responded to Allentown Road after a report of a shooting in the area on Nov. 8. The victim told police that they were supposed to meet with Rohan Dwayne Patterson to settle a disagreement.
The two picked a mutual location to meet up. According to police, Patterson was driving behind the victim in the area and fired a gun at the victim. He then left the scene. After he was identified to police, a warrant was issued for his arrest the same day.
Deputies with the Prince George's County Sheriff's Office were able to determine Patterson's Oxon Hill location on Nov. 17 and he was served with the warrant before being taken into custody.
Patterson was charged with attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, firearm use/felony-violent crime, reckless endangerment from car, loaded handgun in vehicle, handgun in vehicle, handgun on person, and loaded handgun on person, according to deputies.
