LANHAM, Md. — A man is dead after a shooting in Lanham Saturday night, Prince George's County Police Department said.
The shooting happened just before midnight in the 9800 block of Good Luck Road, police said. Officers at the scene found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Detectives are still working to determine what led up to the shooting and the motive.

This incident was reported hours after a man and two others were hospitalized in a stabbing incident in Prince George's County Saturday afternoon.
Officers responded to the 10300 block of Silkwood Court around 4:20 p.m. Once on scene, they found three men suffering from stab wounds. All three men were taken to the hospital. One man was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the Prince George's County Police Department. The other two men suffered injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
Homicide detectives were called to investigate. According to their preliminary investigation, detectives believe the stabbing was domestic-related but did not offer further details about what led up to the stabbing. They continue to work to establish a motive in the case.
No arrests have been made.
