Prince George's County crash involving motorcycle leaves man dead

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash involving a motorcycle.

CLINTON, Md. — Police are investigating after an early Saturday crash left a 42-year-old man dead in Clinton.

Officers with the Prince George's County Police Department responded around 3:45 a.m. to Old Alexandria Ferry Road, nearby Mike Shapiro Drive and off of Branch Road, in Clinton after a report of a crash in the area. Upon arrival, they located the victim in the roadway suffering from critical injuries. 

The man, identified as Leon Brandon Jr., of Clinton, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the crash involved a motorcycle and Brandon was the rider. 

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
