BRANDYWINE, Md. — A man accused of killing his uncle just days before Thanksgiving in Brandywine has been found dead in Atlantic City.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, officers were called to a home in the 15000 block of Brandywine Road for the report of a shooting shortly after 11:45 p.m. Monday.

When officers arrived, they found 62-year-old Lewis Parker, Sr. suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries a short time later.

With the help of the Clinton Division V Investigators, Homicide Unit detectives identified Parker's nephew, 29-year-old Elijah Drew of Somers Point, New Jersey, as a suspect in Parker's death.

Drew was found dead from what officials believe to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Atlantic City, New Jersey the next day.
