GREATER LANDOVER, Md. — Prince George's County Police are searching for a suspect after a mail carrier was robbed at gunpoint Friday afternoon in Landover.
Around 1 p.m. on November 2, police say a USPS mail carrier was robbed of USPS property in the 1700 block of Dutch Village Drive in Landover, Maryland.
During the incident, the suspect showed a firearm to the mail carrier before taking off with USPS property.
Police say the mail carrier was not injured during the incident.
The suspect, pictured below, is described by police as:
- Black, light complexion male
- Approximately 20 years old
- Approximately 6’0 in height, and 170 lbs
- Short platy hair style (non-dreadlocks)
- Wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt with white lettering on the back, black pants, black & white shoes
- Last seen fleeing in a black 4-door sedan with tinted windows
Suspect robs mail carrier in Landover, Maryland

A reward up to $50,000 is being offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
