LAUREL, Md. — Police in Laurel need the public's help to find a driver wanted for a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened Sunday night. Investigators want the community to be on the lookout for a gray Jaguar SUV with heavy front-end damage. If you see it, give police a call.
The crash happened in the 13000 block of Laurel-Bowie Road around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday. When officers arrived they found a man in the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as 38-year-old Duane Lyons of Laurel.
Police released a photo of the make and model of the vehicle they are looking for on Monday.
Anyone who may recognize the vehicle, or have any additional information about this case is asked to call Prince George's County's Collision Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422. Anonymous tips can be submitted via Prince George's County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.
