ROCKVILLE, Md. — Criminal charges have been filed against a juvenile after he allegedly made bomb threats to a high school in Rockville in November 2023.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Police, an investigation found that around 8 a.m. on Nov. 27 a male called Wootton High School and stated that bombs were placed inside specific areas of the school. School personnel then called 911 and reported the crime.
Officers arrived, including K-9 units, as well as the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue to investigate the claims made. They also helped students and faculty to safely evacuate the building.
