PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — An adult and infant were taken to an area hospital after a duplex fire in Prince George's County Tuesday.
According to Prince George's County Fire and EMS, crews were called to the 1000 block of Carrington Avenue shortly before 7 p.m.
Firefighters arrived to find a two-story duplex with smoke and flames coming from the building. Crews worked to contain the fire, which has since been put out.
An adult and infant were taken to an area hospital for help and both are expected to survive.
Officials have not released any information regarding the cause of the fire at this time.
