LANHAM, Md. — A man, apparently wearing the same bandanna to hide his nose and mouth, is wanted for robbing a gas station twice in less than six weeks, Prince George's County Police officials said Wednesday.
Officers are hoping that the public can help them identify the suspect, who threatened employees with a handgun April 5 and May 13 while robbing a Citgo gas station in the 7000 block of Annapolis Road.
"That's pretty brazen of him," said Christina Cotterman, a police spokeswoman. "Perhaps he's familiar with the area."
Police are investigating two additional gas-station robberies nearby but have not linked them to the same gunman.
The nonprofit organization Prince George's County Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect. Call 301-772-4905 or toll free 866-411-TIPS and refer to case 19-0027935.
