Firefighter falls through hole in floor during 3-alarm electrical fire

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — A firefighter fell through a hole in the floor in the second story of a building in Montgomery County.

The firefighter was responding to a 3-alarm fire at 3210 Spartan Road at the time, according to officials.

Fire and emergency medical services have transported several patients, including the firefighter, who sustained non-life threatening injuries, Pete Piringer, chief spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue services, said.
