DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. — Police are asking for the public's help identifying two men they say are wanted in connection to the deadly shooting of Jessica Somerville.
According to the Prince George's County Police Department, the 27-year-old woman was shot to death on St. Patrick's Day.
Officers were called to the 5800 block of Silver Hill Road in the unincorporated section of District Heights at 2:15 a.m. Sunday. When first responders arrived, they located Somerville, who had been shot. She died in the parking lot where she was found.
A day later, police released surveillance camera footage they say shows two men they believe are connected to Somerville's death. In the video, the two men appear to be laughing together. It is unclear if the video was taken before or after Somerville's death.
There is still no word regarding the motive behind Somerville's death.
Detectives are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Callers are asked to refer to case 24-0015802.
