QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY, Md. (WUSA9) -- Several lanes are blocked near the Bay Bridge from an accident that happened on Queen Anne's US 50 prior to Exit 37 Wednesday afternoon.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident that happened eastbound on US 50, authorities said.
At this time it is uncertain how the accident happened, however both the people were taken to the hospital, authorities said.
One of the people involved in the crash is in critical but stable condition. The other person is currently in critical condition.
Authorities said all lanes on Queen Anne's going eastbound US 50 before exit 37 are blocked from the accident.
The two right lanes are blocked from the accident on Queen Anne's westbound US 50 before exit 37.
