ELLICOTT CITY, Md. — Two women were killed in a three-vehicle crash in Howard County early Sunday morning.
Just after 2 a.m., the Howard County Sheriff's Office said that a 2021 Acura RDX was traveling the wrong direction on westbound Route 100 in the area of Snowden River Parkway when it struck a 2010 Subaru Forester and a 2004 Lincoln Town Car.
The drivers in the Acura and Subaru were both killed. Police believe the woman driving the Acura was not wearing her seatbelt.
The driver of the Lincoln was not injured.
Westbound Route 100 was closed for around four hours for the investigation.
The sheriff's office continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash. No other details have been released.
