A D.C. police officer died in a car crash in Howard County Monday morning, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The crash happened on Route 32 in Clarksville in Howard County, Md.
DC police tweeted that Barry Eastman was a four-year veteran of the force, working in the Third District.

Investigators say Eastman crossed the double yellow lines, and crashed into a tractor trailer.
Police say Eastman was 31 years old and lived in Ellicott City.
