4-year-old girl killed, 2 drivers hospitalized after Glenn Dale crash

The investigation shows that the two drivers crashed in the intersection of Glenn Dale Boulevard and Daisy Lane.

GLENN DALE, Md. — A 4-year-old girl was killed in a crash in Prince George's County on Tuesday morning, the police department said Wednesday.

Around 9:20 a.m., officers responded to Glenn Dale Boulevard and Daisy Lane for a crash involving two SUVs.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, the investigation shows that the two drivers crashed in the intersection of Glenn Dale Boulevard and Daisy Lane.

A girl in one of the vehicles was taken to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

She was identified as Divya Akumbom, 4, of Lanham.

The drivers suffered serious injuries and were also taken to a hospital.

No other details have been released.
