LARGO, Md. — An adult and child were rescued from a townhouse fire in Largo Wednesday morning.
According to the Prince George's County Fire Department, crews were called to the 100 block of Swiss Gap Road just after 8 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, they found flames coming from the second floor of a townhouse.
First responders used a ladder to rescue an adult and child from the flames. Both were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The fire has since been extinguished. Crews have not said how badly the home was damaged.
There is no word on what caused the fire at this time.
