CHEVY CHASE, Md. — A water main break on Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase, Maryland is caused major delays on Thursday morning.
The 12-inch break was on the 8500 block of Connecticut Avenue.
Inspectors were called to the scene to determine which crews were needed to fix the break, officials said.
Residents in the area were not affected by the break and have water service.
It is unknown when the break will be fixed. Inspectors are spreading salt and sand to ensure no ice builds upon the roadway.
