ADELPHI, Md. — Montgomery County police responded to a house on Malcom Drive in Adelphi, Maryland with reports of a domestic dispute around 12:17 a.m. Sunday.
Police also received reports of four people inside the home, one of which possibly armed with a handgun.
Officials said that because of the potentially armed person refusing to exit the house, Emergency Response Team officers, including negotiators, responded to the house.
At around 6:30 a.m., the barricade situation ended peacefully without injuries. One person is currently in custody, police said.
