4 reportedly injured in Brookeville collision

Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service reported several trauma patients Saturday night.

BROOKEVILLE, Md. — Multiple injuries have been reported after a two-vehicle crash in Brookeville.

According to Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson Pete Piringer, a collision with entrapment occurred on Gaithers Meadow Lane near New Hampshire Avenue on Saturday night.

Four people reportedly suffered trauma, and crews responded to the scene of the crash, closing down some lanes of traffic.

Piringer said it was possibly a head-on collision, and that one vehicle was in the woods while the other was in the roadway.

Investigators haven't said what caused the crash, how severe the injuries are or how long lanes will be closed.
