ASPEN HILL, Md. -- Six people, including three children, were taken to the hospital after a car crash in Aspen Hill, Md. on Friday night.
The crash happened around 7 p.m. at Norbeck Road and Westbury Road near Rockville. Officials say five people were trapped and had to be extricated from one car. The crash involved two cars.
A total of six people, three adults and 3 children, were taken to the hospital. Officials say most were transported as trauma patients.
Route 28 at Norbeck Road and Westbury Road were closed in both directions due to the crash.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
