2 people injured in Silver Spring shooting

​No one is in custody for the crime at this time.

SILVER SPRING, Md. — A Silver Spring shooting left two people injured late Thursday night and sparking an investigation into what happened.

Officers with the Montgomery County Department of Police were called to Ramsey Avenue and Wayne Avenue around 11:50 p.m. after a report of a shooting in the area. Upon arrival, they found two people suffering from injuries in the area of Colesville Road and Second Avenue, just minutes away from the location they were originally called to.

The two people, who suffered injuries, were taken to a local hospital to be treated. They are both expected to recover. 

No one is in custody for the crime at this time.
