WASHINGTON — A Georgetown mansion that housed several notable people, including Jackie Kennedy, recently sold for around $15 million, according to Concierge Auctions.
Kennedy and her two children lived in the home for about a year after John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963.
The mansion, which is located at 3017, 3009, and 3003 N Street NW, is three connected row houses, which is why it has three separate addresses.
Other famous figures who resided at the home include Yolande Fox, who was crowned Miss America in 1951.
Built in 1794, the mansion spans 16,000 square feet and has 13 bedrooms. The home has undergone a modern renovation while still maintaining its historic feel.
Bidding ended on Oct. 24, and there was a total of 19 bids from six bidders. It was previously listed at $19.5 million, according to its website.
