It's the second day in a row MARC trains are not running between Brunswick and Martinsburg, Wv. due to damaged tracks caused by the high water and flooding in the area.

Trains stopped running late Tuesday night after a train got stuck in the flood waters and caused track damage between Brunswick and Point of Rocks. A total of 85 people got stranded on the MARC train that night for several hours.

Since then, CSX crews have been working around the clock to try and get repairs done to the tracks. However, officials now say Monday is the earliest they expect to have everything back up and running.

As of right now there is limited service in the area of Point Rocks, however MTA suggests commuters use buses.

Flooding has been a severe problem over the past few days. A local state of emergency was issued Wednesday night in Frederick County due to the severity of high water and flooding.
