Repair work to impact WUSA9 viewers who watch with an antenna

The outage is happening because WUSA9 needs to make emergency repairs to our antenna, and in order to safely make those repairs, we have to be off the air.

WASHINGTON — Some crucial repair work to WUSA9's antenna this week will affect viewers who watch CBS programing using an antenna.

The outage is happening because WUSA9 needs to make emergency repairs to our antenna, and in order to safely make those repairs, we have to be off the air.

"When is the outage?"

Tuesday, May 28 to Friday, May 31
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, June 1
10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Sunday, June 2
11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Monday, June 3 to Wednesday, June 5
8:30 a.m. to dusk

"What's the impact of the outage?"

Viewers who use an antenna to watch CBS programming will not get WUSA9's signal during the specified time.

People who watch CBS via a cable system or Paramount+ will be unaffected.

CBS programming that airs during the specified time will not be re-aired.

"What do I need to do?"

If you watch CBS programming over an antenna, you should make other arrangements during the specified time. CBS programming is available at CBS.com and on Paramount+.
