WASHINGTON — A Virginia man is facing charges after police say he raped a girl 16 years younger than him in D.C.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, 31-year-old Cordero Taylor of Alexandria, Virginia, was arrested Friday. He has been charged with first-degree sexual abuse (rape).
Investigators say the victim, who is 16 years younger than Taylor, reported the abuse. The teenage girl says Taylor sexually abused her between February 1, 2023, and March 31, 2023.
While Taylor lives in Alexandria, the victim reported that the abuse happened in the 3300 block of 4th Street, Southeast.
