WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- WUSA9's traffic anchor/reporter Larry Miller has signed on to compete in DC's Dancing Stars Gala scheduled to take place this month.
The local ballroom dance competition, modeled after the hit show 'Dancing with the Stars', raises money for local charities in the Washington Metro.
Miller, along with now nine other competitors, will dance for the prized mirror-ball trophy. His partner is Katherine Hayes, a professional dancer and instructor with the Fred Astaire Dance studio in Fairfax. The couple will be dancing the Cha-Cha.
