WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Starting Monday at 7:30 a.m., drivers will see partial lane closures on Military Road NW from Oregon Avenue to 14th Street. The rolling closures are expected to last until Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. for repairs, asphalt milling, overlay and line striping on Military Road.

The first part to be impacted is the eastbound right lane on Military Road NW. Then, drivers will see westbound right-lane closures. The District Department of Transportation tells us that similar work will follow in the east and westbound left lanes.
One lane in each direction will remain open during the work and anyone in the area is asked to prepare for major delays on Military Road and nearby streets. DDOT urges drivers to seek alternate routes.
