WASHINGTON (AP) - It's the last weekend to see the office of longtime "Meet the Press" moderator Tim Russert at the Newseum.
Russert's office went on display at the museum in Washington in late 2009 and will be on view through Father's Day. The office looks much as it did June 13, 2008, the day Russert died of a heart attack at age 58 while recording voiceovers for his next show at NBC's Washington bureau.
Russert, who served on the Newseum's board of directors, was bureau chief for NBC News in Washington. He began hosting "Meet the Press" in 1991.
The "Inside Tim Russert's Office" will be relocated to Russert's hometown of Buffalo where it is expected go on view in the fall at the Buffalo History Museum.
