WASHINGTON -- A teenage male and two men were injured after being shot early Friday morning in Northeast D.C. a block away from an elementary school, Metropolitan Police said.
Around midnight, police responded to the 1600 block of F Street which is about a block from Miner Elementary School. When they arrived on the scene, they found three people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police said the teen and one man had gunshot wounds to the leg. The other man was shot in the foot.
The victims are expected to recover.
No additional information has been released at this time.
