WASHINGTON -- Police are advising the public to use alternative routes this weekend due to a movie filming in D.C.
The road closures start on Friday at 6:30 p.m. and will last until 5 a.m. on Monday, July 9.
The following is a list of the streets and alley closures:
- 1400-1500 Block of I Street, NW
- 800-900 Block of 15th Street, NW (both sides of McPherson Square)
- 800 Block of Vermont Avenue, NW
- E/B 1500 Block K Street Access Road, NW
- E/B 1400 Block K Street Access Road, NW
- Zei Alley, NW
- 1300 Block of I Street, NW (Intermittent closures when required)
- 1500 Block of K Street, NW (Intermittent closures when required)
The nature of the filming is not made clear, but the filming of Wonder Woman the sequel was announced to take place this summer.
D.C. residents have been posting pictures on social media of the locations they think are being transformed for the film.
