WASHINGTON — A decade later, the search for Relisha Rudd continues.
Rudd, who was 8 years old when she was last seen on March 1, 2014, disappeared from D.C. General Family Shelter where she lived with her family. The shelter has since closed.
Rudd was not officially reported as missing until March 19, 2014.
She was last seen on surveillance video at a hotel with Kahlil Tatum, who was a janitor at the homeless shelter. Tatum’s wife was then found murdered shortly after Rudd went missing. Then, on April 1, Tatum was found dead by apparent suicide before police could question him.
Rudd has never been found. She would be 18 today.
If you know anything about Rudd's disappearance, contact D.C. Police at 202-265-9100.
