WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- More than 5,000 Pepco customers experienced power outages on Thursday evening.
The company acknowledged the outages in a tweet, saying crews were working to restore power to customers affected by an issue at the Benning substation.
Shortly before 11:00 p.m. Pepco tweeted out that power had been restored to all affected customers.
