WASHINGTON — A man is facing charges after police say he repeatedly stole from a CVS in Southeast D.C. in the span of one month.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, 24-year-old Calvin Miller, of Southwest D.C. has been charged with theft two and unlawful entry.
Officers were called to a CVS in the 1100 block of 4th Street, Southwest just after 8:15 a.m. on Friday for reports of a theft in progress. When police arrived, they say officers watched Miller leave the store with stolen property. He was promptly arrested.
Police claim Miller had previously been banned from the store and served a notice that he was not legally allowed inside the CVS.
Following his arrest, Miller was connected to several retail theft offenses at a different CVS on I Street, Southeast. All six of the thefts happened within two weeks:
- Thursday, December 14 at 2:20 p.m.
- Thursday, December 14 at 3:55 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 27 at 5:28 p.m.
- Monday, December 18 at 6:16 p.m.
- Thursday, December 28 at 9:24 p.m.
- Saturday, December 30 at 5:22 p.m.
It is unclear what or how much the cost of the stolen merchandise was at this time.
