WASHINGTON (AP) -- A man was arrested after he climbed over a fence at the White House.
Secret Service spokesman Brian Leary says the man, identified as Campbell Chatterjea of Richmond, Va. climbed over the north perimeter fence around 4:00 p.m. Sunday. The White House briefly went into lockdown after the incident, which is standard procedure.
Chatterjea was arrested and transported to George Washington Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. He has been charged with 'unlawful entry.'
