Lululemon in Navy Yard 'officially closed'

DC Police say the store was robbed at gunpoint on Dec. 14.

WASHINGTON — A Southeast D.C. store has closed after a robbery nearly two weeks ago.

The Lululemon store in Navy Yard still has displays in the window, but multiple signs on the door say it's closed.

There's an email address for customers who were waiting on alterations and directions to the company's other locations.

DC Police say the store was robbed at gunpoint on Dec. 14.

An employee told officers that three people came in wearing ski masks and demanded cash.

One of them took off with money while the other two stole more than 50 pieces of clothing worth roughly $6,000.

Lululemon hadn't announced any plans to close its Navy Yard location, so WUSA9 is still working to find out if that Dec. 14 robbery was a factor in the decision.
