WASHINGTON (WUSA9) – Officials have evacuated a building on University of the District of Columbia Thursday due to a hazmat situation.
According to D.C. Fire and EMS, a small cylinder was leaking ammonia into a classroom. The building was evacuated and officials removed the cylinder.

Crews are now monitoring air quality.
No injuries have been reported.
