WASHINGTON (WUSA 9) -- A mechanical problem on a Green Line train caused some smoke at the L'Enfant Plaza Station Sunday, Metro sad.
The incident happened around 11 a.m. at the 7th Street and D Street SW Metro station, according to Metro. The train was off-loaded and moved to the yard.
D.C. Fire department responded and cleared the scene quickly. There were no injuries and the station is operating as normal, D.C. Fire said.
