Stolen dog: French Bulldog taken during home burglary in Southwest DC

"Tyson" is a 2-year-old male French Bulldog. He is brindle gray and also answers to the name “Cheese.”

WASHINGTON — A French Bulldog was stolen during a burglary of a home in Southwest, DC Police said Friday night.

According to police, on Monday shortly before 6 p.m., a suspect broke a window and entered a home along Galveston Place, Southwest. No one was home at the time, except for "Tyson."

The suspect took property from the home as well as Tyson.

Tyson is a 2-year-old male French Bulldog. He is brindle gray and also answers to the name “Cheese.”

No other details have been released.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
