WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Five people were stabbed inside a restaurant in Northwest D.C. early Saturday morning, police said.
The incident took place at about 12:37 a.m. inside McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Northwest, police said.
WUSA9's Stephanie Ramirez spoke to a resident who said such an incident is uncommon in the area. " I mean I guess bad things happen but not usually here," the resident said.
The victims suffered serious injuries, police said.
Police issued a look out for a black male standing between 5'7" and 5'8" wearing a plaid shirt, black or blue jeans, and a trench coat. No arrests have been made, police said.
